This project updated and published a Town Trail booklet, giving an introduction to the history of Rochford. A previous version had been produced by Rochford District Council but was no longer generally available for use.
The Rochford Hundred Historical Society agreed to work as part of a small group to update the content and prepare it for publication, with a view to the booklet acting as a pilot for future development of a larger Heritage Trail project.
500 copies of the new version were published in May 2015 and made available free of charge at various locations around the Town.
