Heritage Trail launch event - 10th June 2017
The Rochford Heritage Trail was officially launched on Saturday 10th June 2017 with an event at the W.I.Hall and 'in costume' tour guides taking people on a 'taster' tour around the historic centre of Rochford.
Old and young turned up to join guided tours and to see the displays from Rochford Town Team, Rochford Hundred Historical Society, Rochford District Archives and Rayleigh Museum.
Local artist, Barry Rust, was also available to chat about his artistic representation of Rochford. Barry has kindly allowed the Town Team to use copies of his paintings for the Heritage Trail.
