About 4th Rochford Scout Group

We're a friendly group catering for girls and boys between 6 and 15. We have over 100 youth members and have a wide range of exciting activities mainly focused on the outdoors. Over 20 leaders and helpers. We have our own meeting hall beside Rochford Station and next to Rochford Tennis Club.

We provide everyday adventure, with things like camping, kayaking, tomahawk throwing and gliding that our youth members choose to do. Our aim is to enable them to make friends, gain in confidence and independence, learning life skills for themselves in a supportive caring environment. Our training programme grows, so the youngest may spend a night away from home with mum or dad, while our oldest may do a kayak camp with no direct adult supervision.
